Healthcare marketing and media specialist agency, fuoco, today announced the addition of Sloane Scott and Matt Schlossberg to its leadership team, bringing next-level depth and breadth to its bench of brand, media, channel and content experts at a time of rapid growth for the agency and the B2B healthcare industry it serves.

Scott, who brings more than 25 years of brand and digital marketing experience working with early-stage, venture-backed, and publicly traded healthcare, fintech and entertainment companies, joins the firm as senior vice president for Client Experience, providing strategic leadership and direction for client service teams. A true creative who sits at the intersection of visionary thinking and pragmatic execution, Scott will also lead the agency’s Center of Excellence for social media and executive thought leadership.
She has served as the outsourced Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Digital Officer and brand and content strategist for more than 48 companies in the Health IT (HIT) sector, driving measurable audience, influence and revenue growth. Scott also was co-founder of FLO, a holding company that works with entertainers and entrepreneurs with an emphasis on consumer products, technology and content. Its companies include the MadeIn Network, a YouTube multi-channel network.
Schlossberg joins fuoco as vice president for public relations, media relations and content and will lead the agency’s Center of Excellence for those same disciplines. Prior to fuoco, he served as director of communications and marketing for American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) in Chicago where he led all internal and external communication strategies for the AHIMA Foundation, including the redesign of the Foundation website and the development and launch of the Foundation’s first consumer-facing health literacy website. From 2019-2021, Schlossberg was AHIMA content manager, where he led digital communication efforts for the AHIMA Annual Conference and Health Information Professionals (HIP) Week, led cross-functional teams on key thought-leader campaigns on such topics as COVID-19, social determinants of health, information blocking, health privacy and information security, and telehealth, and he was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of AHIMA, a web magazine for health information management professionals.
From 2006-2015, Schlossberg was a senior editor and publications manager for Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Chicago, served as Editor-in-Chief, Dental Practice Report magazine from 2003-2006 and was a staff writer for the Academy of General Dentistry from 2001-2003. He also brings four years’ agency experience (2015-2019), where he served as account director and communications strategist for B2B HIT clients, cultivating trade, local and national media contacts that resulted in media placements that included The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, NBC News, Associated Press, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg, Forbes, Modern Healthcare, Becker’s Hospital Review, HealthLeaders Media and Healthcare IT News. Schlossberg earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Illinois University.
fuoco also announced the promotion of Heather Lodge to assistant director, Digital and Lead Generation Strategy. In her new role, Lodge is responsible for development of the agency’s Center of Excellence for lead generation and digital marketing strategy as well as ongoing oversight and execution of digital marketing projects for clients, including marketing automation implementation, email marketing campaigns and workflows, persona development, website, SEO and SEM strategy, and paid advertising (social and trade media).
Heading into its fifth year, fuoco is now 12-people strong and expects to grow to 20 people in 2022.
