Content Strategy & Delivery Practice Lead

The Position

The Story Sparker is a critical role at fuoco and, depending on the experience of the applicant, could be a senior director or VP level role. This person takes a spark – an objective, an audience, an insight – and creates a fire that drives results for our clients. The ideal individual has healthcare B2B content, digital and channel strategy experience demonstrating leadership, strategic direction, accountability, business acumen and vision for clients. They have a passion for delivering meaningful ideas, work and results.

This role requires a strategic thinker who understands marketing and communication’s role as well as the importance of clear messages that fit the channels available. The Story Sparker has demonstrated experience in the development and execution of integrated engagements across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels.

  • Lead, manage, and hold both yourself and others accountable
  • Develop thought leadership, content and channel strategies and executions for a variety of

  • Define practice strategy to include developing active/passive revenue streams and ensure
    overall profitability of core content marketing offerings
  • Serve as digital/social SME and healthcare editor in chief
  • Distill primary and secondary research into actionable insights and content direction that
    helps differentiate our clients’ products, content, communications and marketing efforts so
    they achieve their desired results

  • Collaborate with account leads in defining integrated, social and digital strategies to achieve
    our clients’ objectives
  • Define budgets, timelines and resourcing plans to execute thought leadership, content and
    channel strategy plans
  • Lead, manage and hold internal and external content, social, and digital teams accountable
    for on-time and on-budget delivery of all projects, including but not limited to:
    o Content marketing roadmap development
    o Thought leadership and social content
    o Persona development
    o Lead generation campaign strategy & flow
    o Marketing automation strategy
    o Sales & marketing playbooks and content support
    o Website strategy and wireframes
    o Paid media: SEM strategy (encompassing SEO & paid ads), social, trade media
    o Digital audits and reporting

  • 90% on-time delivery of projects for self and content team
  • 85% utilization rate among team
  • Identify 1 new revenue opportunity with existing client

The Essentials

  • Experience
    ○ 10+ years with a digital marketing and/or digital PR agency with expertise in
    integrated, social, and digital content marketing and placement best practices and
    tools for reaching B2B audiences
    ○ Experience working on healthcare B2B brands developing and executing marketing,
    communications and thought leadership strategies
    ○ Demonstrated experience working in Hubspot, Pardot, Salesforce and Sprout Social
    with understanding of how these systems work, their benefits and advantages for
    clients, and how they integrate with other client tools and tech stacks
    ○ Success collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement and both
    strategic and tactical marketing plans that drive client success
    ○ Budget development and personnel management experience
    ○ Agency experience required
    ○ BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or related degree

    WordPress, Marketing Automation and Google Analytics
    ○ Keen understanding of the interconnectivity of strategy, company storytelling, brand
    building, and product stories and how the right content can be leveraged to drive
    awareness, consideration, and conversion
    ○ Ability to successfully synthesize data from multiple stakeholders and sources to
    provide actionable insights that inform future recommendations and decisions
    ○ Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism
    ○ Strong writer and communicator skilled at content development across multiple
    ○ Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a
    deadline-driven environment

Position details: Full time exempt
Location: Nashville-based employees are eligible for WFH, according to company policy, after the
introductory period. Hybrid role for candidates based outside of Nashville – remote with some travel
to Nashville office (onboarding + quarterly meeting) and client meetings (as needed)
