The Work

  • Drive the vision of the account leadership team and its ability to lead high-quality,
    collaborative, integrated and profitable client engagements
  • Serve on the senior leadership team, actively participating in the Entrepreneurial
    Operating System planning and implementation process
  • Develop and grow relationships with clients’ leadership teams at the highest levels
  • Continually deliver value to fuoco’s clients and capitalize on opportunities that drive
    revenue and positive perception of the agency and its clients
  • Provide strategic oversight and management of senior-level client and partner
    relationships beyond day-to-day operations
  • Orchestrate strategic marketing communications planning and implementation in
    partnership with senior integrated marketing leader
  • Ensure flawless execution of all client projects by overseeing cross-functional teams in the
    development, implementation and measurement of deliverables
  • Bring a professional and structured approach to client experience that reflects the
    culture, service and capabilities of fuoco
  • Hire, train, develop and manage a high-performance account leadership team
  • Become educated in client brands, customer base, business model and marketing
    objectives and stay abreast of latest industry, client, and competitor developments
  • Leverage defined agency software/platforms to estimate and manage client scopes to
    meet overall revenue and client profitability targets
  • Partner with other leadership team members to identify opportunities for process
    improvements and help facilitate successful implementation across the organization
  • Ensure a collaborative approach internally and across agency partners to ensure happy
    and productive working relationships

  • 90% on-time delivery of client projects
  • 75% utilization rate among team

The Essentials


  • 10+ years marketing/communications experience in an agency environment with
    progressive career growth and minimum 5 years leading direct reports
  • Healthcare B2B client experience with measurable impact for those clients
  • Demonstrable experience leading account teams, developing staff through change
    and growth, and delivering on revenue and profitability targets
  • New business development experience with positive win rate and successful client
  • BA or BS in PR/Media Relations, Communications, Marketing or related degree


  • Sophisticated client service leadership and relationship cultivation
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills (verbal, written
    and over the phone)
  • Strategic plan development and project management skills
  • Collaborative leader with proven ability to influence, coach and hold accountableboth direct and indirect reports
  • Data synthesis to derive audience, industry, business, and competitive insights that
    drive strategies
  • Budgeting and profitability planning, analysis and accountability
  • Manage ambiguity, anticipate and mitigate issues, and solve complex problemswhile doing so with poise and proactivity
  • Superior attention to detail with an eye to process definition and development
  • Knows when to engage others for expertise or perspective
  • Experience with marketing communications tools and platforms like Meltwater,
    Sprout, HootSuite, Google Analytics, Pardot, HubSpot, WordPress, etc.
