SENIOR MANAGER/DIRECTOR, DIGITAL MARKETING
The Position
The senior manager, digital marketing is a critical thinker who demonstrates accountability, business acumen and vision for fuoco clients. This individual will lead innovative and results-driven marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
This role is pivotal in shaping demand generation efforts, executing comprehensive campaigns, and mentoring junior team members. Additionally, the strategist will manage freelancers and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution when needed. The ideal candidate will bring significant expertise in digital marketing, with a preference for experience in healthcare, executing similar strategies, and/or having worked in an agency environment.

- Own the digital marketing strategy across all clients, integrating insights, and a holistic understanding of broader marketing strategies (including PR/Media)
- Align sales and marketing teams through strategic sales enablement, including marketing automation, CRM integration, advanced lead scoring, buyer journey mapping, and playbook development and training.
- Conduct research and analyze data to uncover insights that inform a holistic marketing strategy and ensure continuous improvement across channels.
- Push for continuous improvement by identifying gaps or opportunities, asking “why,” and driving solutions that achieve better results.
The Work
- Campaign Strategy and Management:
- Define objectives, target audiences, channels, and data-driven strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement audience segmentation strategies to deliver tailored campaigns and programs for specific segments.
- Collaborate with creative teams to refresh campaign assets and drive audience engagement.
- Plan, and execute campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads), LinkedIn Ads, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant channels
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance, measure ROI, and adjust strategies to maximize results.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across platforms to create a cohesive and impactful brand experience.
- Build, manage, and utilize reporting and data visualization tools such as Datorama (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence) and Google Data Studio (Looker).
- SEO and Content Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow SEO visibility in AI-driven search environments, reporting on website performance in these contexts.
- Lead the execution of comprehensive SEO strategies, providing both content optimization guidance and technical SEO expertise
- Leverage advanced SEO tools and methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., AI Search) and algorithm updates, integrating recommendations into broader marketing plans.
- Oversee and optimize technical SEO elements such as site load times, meta tags, schema markup, canonical tags, and crawlability, core web vitals, identifying and resolving issues that impact search rankings.
- Stay informed about emerging SEO trends and technologies, adjusting strategies proactively to maintain competitive performance.
- Integrate SEO insights into content and PR strategies, amplifying reach, engagement, and alignment with audience intent.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and search trends across digital platforms, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Social Media:
- Own and oversee organic social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and thought leadership.
- Oversee the creation, design, and management of multimedia content (images, video, written) tailored to platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Ensure amplification of PR and media initiatives promoting company news, announcements, and thought leadership content across social channels.
- Own social media performance metrics, leveraging data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated with broader business objectives and campaigns.
- Proactively share social media trends and integrate them into client strategies while educating clients and internal teams.
- Own and oversee organic social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and thought leadership.
The Essentials
- Skills
- In-depth understanding and a strong point of view of today’s digital marketing landscape, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools such as SEMrush, Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
- Proven ability to measure, analyze, and communicate digital performance effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Act as a digital and social media subject matter expert (SME), staying informed about industry trends and applying insights to strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, address, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Experience
- BA or BS in PR/Media Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years experience at an agency
- Minimum 5 years total experience
