Marketing Automation Manager
The Position
fuoco is seeking a Digital Marketing Automation Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring marketing strategies complement our client’s overall goals, assisting in creating standardized digital business strategies for the development of workflows, best practices, and processes across current marketing technology products. Other job responsibilities include advising clients on technical and creative issues, recommending and implementing solutions like content management or tag management systems, and ensuring safety and trade compliance of
systems and products.
An ideal candidate for this role is one part IT geek and one part integrated marketing expert who possesses a deep technical proficiency within Hubspot, Pardot and other marketing automation platforms and is a skilled translator between teams that don’t speak the same language. The successful candidate should be curious by nature and enjoy troubleshooting issues and has a fundamental understanding of how systems connect and integrate data between platforms. A strong ability to execute on strategic marketing vision through technical integration is a key

- Develop, guide, and implement digital marketing strategies to ensure optimal experience
and connectivity between our clients and their key audiences, driving insights and action - Serve as the CRM & marketing automation administrator across a variety of clients and
platforms including Hubspot, Salesforce, and Pardot and integrating where necessary
Google analytics, tag manager, search console, data studio and paid social media - Implement Quality Assurance process for all agency digital deliverables to ensure all
technical requirements and best practices are met, including both the systems listed above
as well - Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and address recurring issues
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
- Automation cleanup projects, analyzing clients’ HubSpot
- Marketing Automation setups and provide optimization recommendations
- Design, document and implement automations, workflows and marketing processes within client systems (e.g., customer journeys, lead flows/handoffs, triggering actions, etc.)
- Provide technical strategy and management of client’s marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot); including contact management, reporting, and planning for and troubleshooting integrations
- Create and maintain documentation of Marketing Automation and CRM processes, and implement automations inline with these processes
- Establish best practices for our clients’ day-to-day Marketing Automation/CRM operations
- Monitor data quality within and between marketing technology products and identify ways to optimize and/or consolidate across systems inline with systems architecture
- Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration, including integrations and syncs with Salesforce.com, HubSpot, and other tools/systems in each client’s marketing ecosystem
- Deploy B2B email communications using email and marketing automation software (examples include HubSpot and Pardot) in efficient, accurate, and a time-sensitive manner
- Develop playbooks outlining standards and best practices for client CRM and Marketing Automation management and train clients on their use
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues as needed
- Serve as main point of contact within the Agency’s HubSpot Partnership program responsible for client HubSpot success and renewals
- Research and recommend new marketing technology product
- Oversee and execute new Marketing Automation implementations and Marketing
- Support development of budgets and resourcing plans to execute marketing automation projects

The Essentials
Experience
○ Minimum 6 years working hands-on in the digital marketing space and/or digital
marketing agency, with experience working on B2B brands
○ Strong technical background and professional knowledge across a range of
marketing automation tools and client ecosystems
○ Have the ability to “work in the gray” and navigate through open-ended technology
implementations and strategy development
○ Administrator experience and certifications in major Marketing Automation systems
(HubSpot preferred; Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce or Pardot)
○ Proven ability to control timelines and budgets, anticipate issues, and solve complex
problems● Skills
○ Strong understanding of how Marketing Automation systems work and integrate
with Salesforce and other MarTech tools and systems
○ Deep understanding of, and experience with, modern marketing models including
lead scoring, pipeline design, and automated campaign frameworks
○ Expert at using analytics and data to make impactful marketing decisions
○ Successfully managing and using third-party integrator tools and systems
○ Creating/drafting technical requirements documents for clarity and alignment
○ Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
○ Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders,

Location: Hybrid role – remote with some travel to Nashville office (onboarding + quarterly meeting) and client meetings (as needed)
